Waterloo Netball was started by a mum in April 2012 who wanted her daughter to participate locally in sport. England Netball, Southwark and Lambeth Council provided seed funding to start the weekly sessions.
Pre-Covid the Club was up to 80 members with coaching in various age groups and girls participating in Junior Rally, Beginners Umpiring Courses and the Young Leaders in Sport Award. Since the pandemic numbers haven’t been the same, but we are on a mission to attract more members to Waterloo Netball with support from parents and the local community.
